I thought that I would send you a game recently sent to us by Richard Anderson, Teacher & E-Learning Coordinator at Wolverhampton CLC. It can be downloaded at this address:

Please note that you will have to open missionmaker first before running the file! It is a maths game that he intends to use with a number of Gifted & Talented sessions at the CLC in September 2006.  He would be really keen to obtain your feedback.

Can you leave any feedback you have on the game here, and I will pass it on to him.

We have been inundated with requests from both pilot centres and students about when we would be able to provide a home edition of missionmaker.

As a result of this excitement and frenzied feedback I am delighted to say that we are now able to offer a standalone edition of MissionMaker. This is an offer available only to BETA sites and will allow home users to:

• obtain the same BETA release edition* as the pilot site – make your own computer game at home!

• continue creating your game project at home initiated within the pilot site
